James 1: 5-6

Transcript

“But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.”

James 1:5-6 NASB2020

Time and time again God answers our prayers. Sometimes the answer to our prayers are miraculous and sometimes they are not. Sometimes the answer is immediate and sometimes the answer may seem to take a long time. Sometimes the answer is exactly what we want and sometimes the answer may not be the answer we want. There are a couple of things that we can be sure of; God’s answers are always right on time and His will is always perfect and pleasing.

Therefore we must not doubt but always have faith and trust in His perfect will!

In order for us to have this divine wisdom that James is speaking of we must be in the word, we must be in prayer and we must be in fellowship with others. That is the only way to truly know, truly be and to truly seek His will!

As it says in Psalm 119; “Blessed are those whose way is blameless, Who walk in the Law of the Lord. Blessed are those who comply with His testimonies, And seek Him with all their heart.”

Psalms 119:1-2 NASB2020

God you are so good all the time. We thank you for guiding our lives through the power of your Holy Spirit! Help us to always seek your pleasing and perfect will. Help us to completely trust you without doubt or fear. Help us to head your word and follow you and love you with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. We pray all these things in Jesus name Amen.
